Spent lots of time over the past few days actively writing and submitting pieces to publishers for consideration.  I look forward to the forthcoming onslaught of rejections – and maybe even an acceptance or two!

For those who don’t know me all that well just yet, most of my writing of the past year has been non-fiction.  I’m working on a memoir of my year becoming a father during my kiddo’s year in the hospital.  Cheery stuff, which you can read here.  This last batch of writing has been fiction, which has given me lots of license to stretch and expand as a writer, while still exploring many of the themes in my memoir.  I dig it!

I’ll be posting occasional pieces on my writing page – there’s a new 50 word short story over there for your perusal.
